What's new in Tallyn

Improvements that shipped in Tallyn, newest first. Only changes a customer can see are listed, each with the date it went live.

Changes

  1. Uploads checked by their contents

Tallyn reads each upload's real type from the file itself and refuses one whose name or type says otherwise. Files that could carry macros or programs are held until an owner or admin releases them.

  2. More in the REST API

With a workspace API key you can now create a draft form, send a live form to a named client and list uploaded files.

  3. Adaptive questions

In an adaptive section, the next question is chosen from your goal and what the client has already told you, within guardrails you set. It is off until you turn it on for a form.

  4. Industry packs

Choose your kind of firm and Tallyn starts from its pack: accounting and tax, legal, agency and creative, financial advice and mortgage, property and leasing, consulting, or recruiting and HR.

  5. Built-in e-signature

Send a PDF or a letter written in Tallyn for one or more people to sign, in parallel or in order, with a countersignature if you like. Signers get a signed PDF with a completion certificate.

  6. Ready-to-prepare package for accountants

Tallyn builds a package from a client's documents: what arrived against what was expected, key figures, changes from last year and open questions. It updates when documents change.
