Who it's for
Client onboarding for consultants
Tallyn is client onboarding and intake for consultants and advisors. It asks each new client the questions that apply, checks every upload, chases what's missing with up to five reminders, and hands you a ready-to-start file. Clients open a link and need no account. Free to build; plans start at $19 a month, people included.
What you collect
- The background documents and data you need before the first session.
- Answers to your scoping questions, with follow-up questions only where an answer is unclear.
- A ready-to-start file instead of an email thread.
How it works
- Describe what you need, or start from a template for your kind of work, and Tallyn drafts the form. You edit everything before you share it.
- Clients answer on any device, save and finish later, and upload files within the types and sizes you set.
- Tallyn says what each document is, flags a file that isn't what you asked for, and reminds the client about anything still missing.
- Choose your kind of firm and Tallyn starts from its pack: accounting and tax, legal, agency and creative, financial advice and mortgage, property and leasing, consulting, or recruiting and HR.
What it won't hold
Tallyn isn't built to hold Social Security numbers, ITINs, full bank or card numbers, or logins, and its AI never asks for them. A business's EIN is fine. In uploads, account and ID numbers are masked to the last four characters.
What you pay
Every plan has every feature, people included; plans differ by volume. Building is free, with no card. The 7-day trial starts when you choose a plan.
Questions
Do my clients need an account?
No. They open a link on any device, and can save and finish later.
Does Tallyn replace practice-management software?
Possibly not. If your system already collects client documents with requests and reminders, Tallyn may duplicate it. It's aimed at teams using email, general forms and spreadsheets today.
